Muchas marcas de diseño independiente se esmeran por buscar y recolectar técnicas ancestrales de tejido y elaboración y para así poder trabajar sus productos de la manera menos nociva posible y tener un impacto positivo culturalmente y teniendo siempre en mente nuestra responsabilidad con la Tierra.
It is also important to mention that in the recent years there has been an amazing preocupation with how the industry can work in a more Eco friendly way, this term being in its most shining momento probably since its invention. Many independent design brands are now searching and implementing ancestral techniques and methods into the way they make their clothes, in order to have a more mositive impact.
No todas estas marcas se dedican a hacer ropa, Kinua es una marca de lanas cuyo deseo es llevar la conciencia de esa misma responsabilidad a la elaboración de las fibras mismas. Todas las lanas están hechas a mano, cada ovillo tratado con amor y paciencia y cada uno teñido, a mano también, de manera natural con diferentes tintes como Índigo y Cochinilla. Además hay una gran variedad de texturas y colores. Mucho del trabajo se hace cercanamente con artesanos de distintas comunidades, contribuyendo a que sus tradiciones prevalezcan.
Not all of these brands make clothes though, Kinua is a Brand that produces yarn, and it has the objective to take the conscience of that same responsibility into the process of making the fibers themselves. All the yarns are hand-spun and dyed naturally with different natural dyes like Indigo. much of the work is made closely with artisans, contributing to the preservation of their traditions.
